Weight scale certification at Salisbury farmers market

Weight scalecertification

Those that sell produce and other items by weights must have their scales certified each year. The North Carolina Department of Agriculture will be certifying weigh scales on Wednesday, July 11, at the Salisbury Farmers Market from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Scales need to be NTEP approved to be legal for use in North Carolina to comply with laws dictated by the NC Department of Agriculture.
